We teach you how to assess, control and improve your suppliers. It is essential that your own business and production processes meet certain quality standards, but it is of course just as important that your suppliers deliver quality.

In order to assess and control your suppliers, G&P Quality Management offers training and coaching on supplier management methodology. The main goal of a well-founded Supply Chain management process is to strive for continuous improvement of the delivered goods and services.

Assessing and controlling suppliers via PDCA

We also base ourselves on the PDCA principle to assess potential new suppliers and to control and improve existing ones. PDCA is a quality management tool and stands for Plan, Do, Check and Act.

Start with a structured assessment of new suppliers and continuously monitor the performance of existing ones:

Plan: who supplies which parts and what are the objectives in terms of price, deliveries, response time, development capabilities, warranty responsibility, etc.
Do: track deliveries and document performance (KPIs).
Check: evaluate performance (KPIs).
Act: take action to correct and prevent.

In addition to this training, we also help you with Shop Floor Assessment and/or Risk Analysis of existing and new suppliers. To assess a production process for effectiveness and efficiency, we focus on visible evidence of the application of Quality System Basics.
