The layered process audit items are the same for everyone, from the CEO to team leaders, and the responses are pre-agreed and recorded. The LPA checks focus on high-risk items and should be limited in time and amount. The immediate response to deviations avoids escalation. However, the intention should never be to seek or point out the culprits, but rather to help employees find out why what is requested is not being done and to do something about it quickly.
